Production

Seeds House DOO offers you high-quality seed production. The production of seed products is carried out according to the principles of conventional production. The entire production process is monitored by professional services and the Ministry of Agriculture.

Seed control is performed by eminent and internationally recognized certified laboratory houses (Jugoinspekt Belgrade, Maize Research Institute "Zemun Polje", Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops, Novi Sad).

Our production includes the following types and varieties:

ALFALFA

(Medicago sativa)

Alfalfa is considered one of the leading and most important fodder plants. It is a perennial legume that is cultivated on all production continents.

It is used for feeding livestock in various forms such as hay, silage, and dehydrated plants. It is rarely used as green fodder and for livestock nutrition.

Moreover, alfalfa plays a very important role in crop rotation, as a culture for improving soil structure, humus, and in the overall amount of accessible nitrogen.

The choice of variety and its characteristics are important for achieving high and stable yields of high-quality fodder.

Alfalfa is a plant of moderate and moist climates. It is recommended to be grown on fertile, deep, and medium-heavy soil.

Alfalfa

VARIETY DESCRIPTION
  • A variety with high yields of green fodder (85-100 t/ha) and hay (18-20 t/ha) under production conditions.
  • Tolerant to intensive exploitation.
  • Of excellent quality (21% protein in hay).
  • Increased tolerance level to drought, low temperatures, and lodging.
  • An early variety, with rapid initial growth after mowing.
  • Exceptionally productive on light and medium-heavy soils.

OS 66
Alfalfa

VARIETY DESCRIPTION
  • It tolerates dry conditions excellently.
  • It has a medium-fast regeneration after mowing.
  • Breeding has increased longevity and the proportion of leaves.
  • Plants are of medium height, upright with a robust stem.
  • Most plants have light to medium purple flowers, with a smaller proportion of dark blue flowers.

 Dormancy: 4-5

NS Alfa
Alfalfa

VARIETY DESCRIPTION
  • A variety with high genetic potential for fodder yield (over 80 t/ha) and dry matter (over 20 t/ha).
  • Variety tolerant to lodging and frequent mowing.
  • NS Alfa has a high level of resistance to low temperatures and drought.
  • A variety of excellent quality, crude protein content: 20-22%.

 Dormancy: 5-6

SUDAN GRASS

(Sorghum sudanense)

Sudan Grass is a warm-season grass, unlike most fodder crops which are cool-season grasses.

It is a very significant fodder crop that contains carbohydrates. In the diet of ruminants, Sudan grass stands out due to its high yields and quality biomass.

CHARACTERISTICS

Excellent resistance to low temperatures, excellent quality, high yield potential, drought tolerance

Srem
Sudan Grass

VARIETY DESCRIPTION
  • A new variety of Sudan grass.
From four cuts, it achieves high yields: green fodder up to 100 t/ha and hay 20 t/ha, of excellent quality.
  • It is characterized by very rapid initial growth, bushes well, and regenerates quickly after mowing.
  • It is resistant to economically significant diseases.
  • It is characterized by excellent regenerative properties.
  • This is achieved by mowing it 3 to 4 times a year.
  • Possibility of sowing more than once a year
